Before Pihl Excavating creates a road
system, a closer look is taken as to its
layout. As a rule of thumb we create a 3D computer
model of the terrain with the road on it, prior to commencing work.
Since we live in Oregon, we
definitely consider water dynamics. All water must be diverted away
from the road. So, catch basins or culverts may be necessary.
We ensure all criteria for form and
function are met. This takes into account all local construction
codes and fire department regulations, while enhancing your views.
